Community Center's 50th Anniversary

A real ‘retro’ look back at the early years to celebrate the Center’s 50 year anniversary. We encourage attendees to dress like the ‘60s-‘70s (think bellbottoms, tie-dye & flower power). There will be displays of center pictures and memorabilia and retrospectives of what life was like in 1969. Lunch at noon will be a ‘turn back the clock’ menu of Chicken-a-la-king, green beans almondine and of course jello salad! After lunch the celebration starts with cake and acknowledgements by local dignitaries. Then we’ll flash back with a musical ‘Tribute to Elvis’ by local impersonator Dino Macris. The public of all ages is welcome and invited. Come for all or part - lunch is $6, RSVP (360-354-4501) requested, but not required.
