Name: Marian Exall & Richard Little,Road Trips in Fact & Fiction
Date: May 19, 2018
Time: 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM PDT
Event Description:
Join us in Lynden for this pairing of two of Bellingham’s favorite local writers. Richard Little's latest collection of stories, Jakey's Fork, A River's Journey, begins high in the Rockies and follows a small creek to the mighty Missouri. Sarah McKinney, the heroine of A Splintered Step, Marian Exall's third mystery in the series, traces a trajectory from London to the wilds of Wales, as she searches for a link between apparently random deaths. Join Little and Exall at the Lynden Village Books to learn about the personal significance of the places visited on two contrasting road trips. After a career as an employment lawyer, Marian Exall now writes what she loves to read: mysteries. She has recently published the third Sarah McKinney mystery. Like her heroine, Marian was born and raised in England. She lived in France and Belgium before moving to Atlanta. She now lives in the Pacific Northwest with her husband of 45 years. She enjoys cooking, hiking and doing grandparent duty. A retired attorney and lobbyist, Little has lived in the Pacific Northwest for over thirty-five years. His work has been published in the Seattle Times, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, the Santa Fe Writers Project, Cirque Literary Journal, and Clover, A Literary Rag. He has also published a collection of short stories, Postcards from the Road. Check out his blog, "The Write Stuff", at http://pepys2000.blogspot.com.
