Having studied both piano and violin from a young age, she focused on violin in college but maintained her piano proficiency so that she can play concerts such as this one! Ruth’s musical adventures include orchestral performances in Eastern Europe and Costa Rica and tours alongside Michael W. Smith and Amy Grant. She performed a guest artist concert at the Jansen Art Center in 2016 and is ecstatic to be back with a delightful, new program. Andrew Plaisier Andrew is a recent graduate of the University of Michigan with Master’s degrees in Cello Performance and Chamber Music. Prior to his time in Ann Arbor, Andrew attended Calvin College where he double-majored in Music and Biology. He is excited to present this diverse program of some of his favorite works!
